Tonight: How New Urbanism Advances Mobility and Safety Goals

CNU-Houston and Houston Tomorrow are sponsoring a lecture this evening titled:

How the New Urbanism Advances Mobility and Safety Goals (While Building Better Communities at the Same Time)

The lecture is going to be presented by Dr. Eric Dumbaugh of Texas A&M University, who is an expert in transportation network design. For anyone who enjoys reading this blog, this lecture would be a “must-see” event.

I’ll be introducing Dr. Dumbaugh tonight, and I’ll be hanging around for a little while afterward, so feel free to come by and say hello!

For the complete event details check out this page: http://cnu-houston.eventbrite.com/

I hope to see some of you out tonight!

  1. Streetsblog.org just posted an article discussing the very same ITE document that Dr. Dumbaugh mentioned in his talk. Not surprisingly, there is significant overlap between the article and the talk.
