Spaghetti World Tour

For a little fun, I decided to share some of my favorite “Spaghetti” from around the world. By “Spaghetti” I mean crazy, twisty, tangly intersections. We’ve got a few good ones here in the US, but there are also some crazy ones are in Europe and Asia, where the engineers seem to be more willing to make drivers perform incredible feats of navigation and handling than we are over here. So, with no further introduction necessary, here are five of my favorite bizarre intersections from around the world:

West of London – Traffic Circle with Flyover Ramps

Taipei – Traffic Circle inside of a Traffic Circle…

Los Angeles – Three freeways merging southeast of Downtown

Trenton – This strange intersection is directly west of the Trenton Amtrak Station

Near Charles Du Gaulle Airport in Paris – You better not make a wrong turn in this monster… scroll around, there’s more spaghetti nearby!

Now these are just five intersections that I’ve seen – I know you’ve seen crazy stuff too. Post a comment with a picture or a link to the wackiest intersections you’ve encountered, and share the love!

  1. Here’s my favorite:

the magic roundabout in Swindon, UK. Another picture, actually there is order to the madness.

  2. They call this intersection “spaghetti junction” in Atlanta.
